On Thursday, September 23, 2010, Oromocto RCMP General Investigation Section along with police officers from the Minto detachment executed a search warrant at a residence on Upton Road in Minto, NB.
During the search police seized prohibited weapons, marijuana, various prescription pills and contraband tobacco. They also seized an all terrain vehicle and a gas generator, which are suspected as being stolen property.
William Garnet Daigle of Minto NB was arrested and appeared in Burton Provincial Court on Friday September 24th. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Burton Provincial Court on September 27, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. to enter his plea on several firearms and drug related charges.
