On Saturday, September 25, 2010, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police received a call for a shooting at 500 Scarlett Road.

It is reported that:

– on the evening of Saturday, September 25, 2010, the victim was in one of the elevators,

– the victim became involved in an altercation with an unknown man,

– the altercation carried on into the parking level corridor,

– the victim was discovered a short time later, lying in the parking garage stairwell, suffering from obvious trauma,

– a suspect was seen leaving the front lobby of 500 Scarlett Road.

He is described as black, with a short afro, 5’10”, medium build, wearing all-black clothing including a hoodie and jeans.

The victim has been identified as Dori Sanaj, 21, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Monday, September 27, 2010.
