Shots fired during home invasion in Edmonton, Alberta

Southeast Division officers are investigating an apparent home invasion that occurred early this morning in the Larkspur area.

Around 4:50 a.m., Monday, Sept. 27, officers were called to a home on 32 Street and 43 Avenue on the report that several suspects, one of whom was armed with a shotgun, had entered a home and fled with property. Two adults and a 4-year-old boy were home at the time. A shot was fired during the incident, however investigators are not releasing the details on injuries at this time.

It is possible that the suspects fled the scene in a nearby vehicle. The investigation continues.
