James Malone and Donald Wonch charged with aggravated assault in Hamilton

The Hamilton Police Service has arrested and charged two Hamilton men after an early morning stabbing that left three men in hospital.

On Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a report of a stabbing that had just occurred in the area of King St. W and Caroline St.

Early in the investigation, officers determined that three males, two 19 yrs. and one 20 yrs. all of Hamilton, were victims of a stabbing. It is alleged that the incident started in Hess Village and then continued in the King St. W. and Caroline St. area. All of the victims were taken to hospital. Two of the victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening. A third victim is in serious condition.

Officers located the suspects involved in the area of Mulberry St. and Park St. They were both arrested and are being held for a bail hearing today. This investigation is ongoing.

Charged: James MALONE, 46 yrs. of Hamilton
Donald WONCH, 28 yrs. of Hamilton

Charges: Aggravated Assault

  1. victum went to court and stated that it was not donald wonch that committed the crime, he was wrongfully accused and was never convicted!!
