DRPS investigators have located and seized the last of eight stolen firearms outstanding from an Oshawa residential break-in which occurred in late June. Three persons are charged.

Shane BROHART, age 18 of Wilson Road North in Oshawa is charged with: Possession of Firearm Obtained by Crime; Possession Contrary to Order; Possession of Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized and Possession of a Firearm in Contravention of Storage Regulation.

A 17-year-old Oshawa male is charged with: Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime; Possession Contrary to Order; Possession of a Firearm in Contravention of Storage Regulation and Possession of a Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized.

A 15-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with: Possession of Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized and Possession of a Firearm in Contravention of Storage Regulation.

The identities of both young persons are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All three accused were held for bail hearings.
