Codiac Regional RCMP have charged a 56-year-old Moncton man for an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery in connection with two separate incidents which happened earlier this month in Greater Moncton.

Fernand Joseph Cormier appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on Monday, September 27, 2010 on charges of armed robbery at Pub 1755 on Champlain Street in Dieppe and attempted armed robbery at Dooley’s on Elmwood Drive in Moncton. Both incidents occurred on September 9, 2010.

Fernand Cormier waived his right to a bail hearing and is scheduled to return to Moncton Provincial Court on October 28, 2010 at 9:30 am for election and plea.
