Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have arrested a 22 year-old Brampton man for a series of criminal offences including; Sex Assault, Forcible Confinement and Sexual Interference.

On Monday, September 27, 2010, Jason BENT was arrested for a sex assault on a 15 year-old female victim from Brampton. He will be attending the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 28, 2010, for a bail hearing.

It is alleged, that Mr. Bent forcibly confined the victim and sexually assaulted her, after she got off a bus in the area of Steeles Avenue East and McLaughlin Road, in August of 2010.

Investigators are concerned Mr. Bent may have sexually assaulted other victims and are urging anyone who may have come into contact with the suspect to contact Peel Regional Police at (905) 453-3311.
