Ebony Osawe charged with firearm offences in Toronto

On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at about 1:15 a.m., police executed a search warrant at 11 Dunbloor Road.

During the execution of the search warrant, a police firearm was discharged.

The scene is the subject of a Special Investigations Unit investigation.

During the course of the search warrant, Ebony Osawe, 23, of Toronto, was arrested.

He is charged with:

– Possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition,
– Careless storage of a firearm,
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm,
– Careless storage ammunition,
– Weapon dangerous.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, September 30, 2010, Old City Hall, 10 a.m., room 103.
