Winnipeg man Jonathan Alexander Baker charged in connection to a sexual assault investigation

On April 9, 2014 the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a sexual assault that occurred at a public pool in the St. Vital area.

Attending officers met with the complainant who advised that her 5 year old son had been inappropriately touched by another patron.

Members of the Child Abuse Unit continued with the investigation and as a result arrested the suspect for his alleged involvement.

Jonathan Alexander Baker 23 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age, Sexual Interference & Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

He was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
