The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing girl.

Nimue McVannell, 12, was last seen on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 8:10 a.m., in the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue area. 

She is described as white, approximately 5’2″, 103 lbs., blue eyes, dirty blond/light brownshoulder-length hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a light blue ‘American Eagle’hooded sweatshirt, plaid scarf, beige-coloured baseball cap with a blue eagle on the front and ‘Porter’on the back, blue jeans, large pink and green plaid backpack, dark blue rainboots with ‘Mudruckers’ written on the side.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Update: Nimue McVannell was located on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 1:45 p.m.
