Eva Botton and George Horton arrested for G20 violence

Two people have been arrested and charged in relation to damage allegedly done during the G20 Summit. Another man has been identified and a warrant issued for his arrest.

On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, George Horton, 22, of Peterborough, was arrested. It is alleged that he is responsible for over $100,000 worth of damage that occurred during G20 Summit. He has been charged with:

1) Three counts of Mischief over $5,000
2) Assaulting a Peace Officer
3) Intimidation of a Justice System Participant by Violence
4) Obstructing a Peace Officer
5) Wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an indictable offence
6) Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000
7) Weapons dangerous

On Thursday, September 30, 2010, Eva Botton, 29, of Surrey, British Columbia, was arrested. It is alleged that she is responsible for over $160,000 worth of damage that occurred during the G20 Summit. She has been charged with:

1) Five counts of Mischief over $5,000
2) Wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence

In addition, an arrest warrant has been issued for Charles Bicari, 19, of Montreal. He is wanted for allegedly committing over $100,000 worth of damage during the G20 Summit.

Dcomment_ID knocking a mounted policeman off his horse somehow tell Stephen Harper and Barack Obama to shape up or ship out?

    Excuse me sir, but sometimes vandalism is just vandalism. I watched all of this happen right in my own neighbourhood and I am ashamed to see illegal actions somehow being called legitimate protest. These people are just as outrageous as Mr. Harper and the lake and the billion dollars spent on the event. This truly was the OMG-20.
