Two adults and a youth are charged following the investigation of a theft from auto incident reported in mid-August in which a wallet, identification, credit cards and a quantity of cash were stolen.

Between the evening hours of Wednesday August 11th and the morning of Thursday August 12, 2010, the complainant’s locked motor vehicle was entered while parked in his residential driveway in Caesarea. Suspects stole several items including a wallet containing a quantity of cash and personal identification. The suspects were caught on video using stolen credit cards in Durham Region on the evening of the theft.

Investigators identified the suspects involved with the assistance of surveillance video from the locations of the fraudulent purchases. The three accused were arrested by officers in early October.

Riccardo DIVILIO, age 23 of Roseborough Court in Scugog and Chrystalyn SEENEY, age 19 of Bay Street in Scugog as well as a 16-year-old male from Scugog are charged with: Theft Under $5,000 x2; Possession of Stolen Property x2; and Use of Stolen Credit Card x2. DIVILIO is further charged with Breach of Recognizance. The identity of the youth is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
