Christopher Allen Payne has been charged with one count of making child pornography available online. He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Burton Provincial Court again on October 8 at 9:30 a.m.
The charge follows information received by the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre in Ottawa. That information was passed along to the RCMP New Brunswick Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit. The ICE Unit along with the RCMP Atlantic Region Integrated Technological Crime Unit executed a search warrant at Payne’s residence in Oromocto this morning. He was arrested without incident.
The investigation is continuing.
