On October 12, 2010 at approximately 11:00 p.m., police responded to a commercial robbery at a convenience store located in the 500 block of Keenlyside Street.

The investigation has revealed that two suspects entered the business, one of which was armed with a gun demanding cash and cigarettes. An undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes and cash was stolen.

On October 13, 2010 at approximately 12:30 p.m., two suspects robbed a 23 year old male of cash and property while armed with a gun in the area of the 100 block of Regent Avenue West.

At approximately 2:00 p.m., two suspects attended to a City of Winnipeg facility located in the area of the 100 block of Wabasha Street and confronted an employee. Both suspects attempted to conceal their identity, one of which was armed with a gun. Money was demanded but nothing was obtained. Both suspects fled the area.

Numerous police resources attended the area searching for the suspects.

Due to the efforts of all officers involved, an adult male was located and arrested in the 600 block of Kildare Avenue East. It was at this time officers recovered an air pistol.

Morlai Glenn KAMARA, 19 years has been charged with the following alleged offences: Robbery x 3, Disguise with intent, and possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.

He has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
