A 12-year member of the Hamilton Police Service was arrested and charged on October 19, 2010.
It is alleged that while on duty, Cst. Doug McKee committed a property theft from a local residential construction site. Hamilton Police executed a search warrant at his residence and recovered the stolen property.

Charges: Theft under $5,000
Possession Under $5,000
Breach of Trust
Officer Doug McKee was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Monday, November 15th, 2010. The Officer has been suspended from duty.
