Phillip Albert wanted by Hamilton police for drug and firearm offences

The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a wanted man after he fled a home in East Hamilton where a warrant was being executed.

Today, at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Hamilton Police Service Gangs and Weapons Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Cannon St. E. in the area of Gage Ave.

During the execution of the warrant, three people were arrested.  One male suspect arrested fled from the home and Hamilton Police are now seeking the assistance of the public in locating him.  Phillip ALBERT, 21 yrs. is wanted for numerous drug and firearms offences.  Phillip ALBERT is described as male, white, 5’10”, 155 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.  His picture is attached.

Two women were also arrested.  A 52 yr. old woman was released on a Promise to Appear while a second woman will appear in court today.  Hamilton Police also seized a quantity of illegal drugs and a firearm from the home.

                  Escape lawful custody

Charged: Kassandra PUTMAN, 24 yrs. of Hamilton
Charges: Possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking
                  Proceeds over $5,000.00
                  Careless storage of a firearm
                  Unauthorized possession of a firearm
                  Possession of a firearm with an altered serial number
                  Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
                  Possession of a weapon obtained by crime

Arrested: 52 yr. old Hamilton woman
Charges: Possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking

Seized:    ½ kilo of marihuana with street value of $4,000.00
                  loaded Beretta handgun
                  $8,000.00 cash proceeds
                  ammunition
