Dorchester man Cory Lucci charged in connection to a home invasion incident

Sackville RCMP have arrested and charged a 37-year-old man after investigating a home invasion that occurred during the early morning hours of September 8, 2014. At approximately 2:40 a.m., police received a complaint that a man broke into a residence in Dorchester, N.B. and assaulted the two occupants inside. The victims suffered minor injuries. The alleged assailant was known to the victims. 

After a period of time, the man left the residence. Police later located the man and arrested him without incident.

Cory Lucci, from Dorchester, N.B., appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on September 9 and was charged with two counts of assault, one count of break and enter, uttering threats, trespassing at night, breach of probation and mischief under $5,000.

Lucci was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear back in court for a bail hearing on September 11, 2014.
