Toronto man Zhebin Cong charged with first degree murder

On Sunday September 14, 2014 at approximately 9:45 p.m., police responded to a Person-with-a-knife call in the Don Mills Road/Van Horne Avenue area.

Once on scene, police found a man with without vital signs. He was pronounced at scene.

He has been identified as San Tai Yuan, 56, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death to be the result of sharp-force injuries.

On Sunday, September 14, 2014, Zhebin Cong, 43, of Toronto was arrested. He is charged with:

1) First-degree Murder

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 10 a.m.
