Mississauga man Reshane Hayles-Wilson charged with first degree murder

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a man wanted in the investigation of Homicide #53/2013, the homicide of Neeko Mitchell, 25.

It is alleged that:

– on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at approximately 8:10 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting out front of the North Kipling Community Centre/North Kipling Junior and Middle School at 2 Rowntree Road, in the Kipling Avenue and Finch Avenue area.

– the victim, Neeko Mitchell, 25, was shot multiple times and died as a result of his injuries

On Thursday, January 23, 2014, an arrest warrant was issued for Reshane Hayles-Wilson, 23, of Mississauga. He was wanted for:

1) First-Degree Murder

On Monday, September 22, 2014, Reshane Hayles-Wilson, 23, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with:

1) First-Degree Murder

He has been remanded to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Monday, October 27, 2014, courtroom 206.

The investigation is ongoing.
