The Perth Andover RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the body of a woman that was found in the Aroostook River at the Tinker Dam, in Tinker, N.B.

On October 26, 2014 shortly after 10:30 a.m., the body of a female was discovered in the river. There were no personal belongings or pieces of identification with the body.Police are trying to determine this woman’s identity and are looking at missing personsreports to see if any match her description. 

RCMP forensic identification experts were called to the scene to assist with the investigation. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed today.
