The Ottawa Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing person Brian Barnabas, 21 years old. He was last seen today at 8:00am in the 1800 block of Russell Road.
Ottawa Police received a call for service at approx 1:40pm about a man who may have gone into the water at Victoria Island. While police found some of Barnabas’ belongings on the Island, there have been no sightings since this morning.
Mr. Barnabas is described as an Aboriginal male, black hair, dark eyes, 5’9” (175cm), 150lbs (68kg) with several homemade tattoos on his forearms.
Update: Brian Barnabas was located, safe and sound.
