A Toronto Police Service officer has been arrested and charged.

Sergeant Raymond Meech, 44, with 21 years’ service, is currently attached to 11 Division.

It is alleged that:

– the accused harassed a woman.

The officer was off-duty at the time of the alleged offence.

On Friday, November 12, 2010, police arrested and charged Raymond Meech, of Toronto, with:

1) two counts of Criminal Harassment.

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 1 p.m., room 301.

  1. This is such a bogus charge. It was hurried through parliament in 1993 after a series of murders to gain votes for the Tories. Any man can be charged with this based on loose allegations. More often than not the accuser doesn’t show up at the trial because the allegations are false. It allegations were revenge. The accused will not be compensated. There will be no apology. I’m surprised Toronto Police took the initiative to charge one of their own with this.
