On Saturday, June 19, 2004, at 5:49 a.m., officers from 31 Division responded to a 9-1-1 call at 2610 Weston Road.
Police located a man with obvious signs of trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Gaurav Bazaz, 31, of Toronto.
The cause of death was a gunshot wound.
As a result of the investigation, the accused has been identified as Vijay Singh, 30, of Markham.
He was arrested on October 6, 2010 and charged with First Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, November 30, 2010, room 306.
