On November 16, 2010, Mr. Jean Fernand Plourde, 59 years old from Saint-Quentin, appeared in Provincial Court in Campbellton and pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault against two individuals. The offenses took place between 1973 and 1979. Mr. Plourde will be sentenced in Provincial Court in Campbellton on January 12, 2011.
Mr. Plourde was charged with two counts of indecent assault, two counts of gross indecency and one count of committing unnatural sexual acts (sodomy).
