Investigators are renewing an appeal for information about a British tourist who went missing one year ago.
Thomas (Tom) Billings was last seen on East Broadway near McLean Drive at about 9:00 a.m. on November 25th. He was scheduled to enter the US at the end of November and then return to England on December 7th, but never arrived. Most of his belongings were left at a home he was staying at in East Vancouver
Tom had indicated that he wanted to go hiking. Several credible tips to the VPD resulted in extensive searches of the North Shore by search and rescue teams, but there were no signs of the missing man.
The investigation is ongoing and police are releasing additional photos of Tom Billings in hopes that someone will remember seeing him.
Tom was 22 years old when he went missing and is described as white, 5’7″ tall, 160 lbs., with blonde short hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and grey military style pants.
