On Sunday November 21, 2010 at approximately 4:00 AM, a male was observed to pull a Rogers cable box off the side of a building on Grey Street. When questioned by a witness, the male fled the area. While searching for the suspect, the witness, again, observed the male removing another Rogers cable box off a building on Adelaide Street. The resident of this second place joined the first witness and confronted the suspect.
The suspect then hit one of the witnesses and ran away. The witness received a minor injury. Police attended the area where they located and arrested the suspect.
Charged with assault, theft under $5000 (x2) and possession of break in instruments is 59 year old Lauro Parovel of London.
