Two youths charged with the murder of Tyrone Bracken in Toronto

On Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 4 p.m., police responded to a sound of gunshots call at 135 Neptune Drive.

Officers located a boy suffering from an obvious gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Tyrone Bracken, 16, of Toronto.

On Monday, November 22, 2010, police arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy each with:

1) First Degree Murder.

The names of the accused cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The 16-year-old boy was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, November 22, 2010, room 204, at 10 a.m.

The 17-year-old boy is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, room 204, at 10 a.m.
