The Hamilton Police Service have arrested and charged a 58 year old Hamilton man alleged to have accessed and downloaded child pornography.
Members of the Hamilton Police Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit along with members of the Technological Crime Unit and Patrol officers executed a search warrant at a home on James St S, in Hamilton yesterday after receiving information from employeesat the Hamilton Public Library, regarding a male allegedly using the public library computers to access and download child pornography.
Charged: Martin Parson 58 yrs of age of Hamilton
Charges: – Possession of Child Pornography
– Accessing Child Pornography
Hamilton Police are continuing their investigation with a detailedforensic examination of the computers and devices seized from the residence.
Parson appeared in Bail Court yesterday.
