Two suspects Emilio Land and Botoch Sagutch charged with attempt murder

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two arrests in connection with a stabbing investigation.

On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at approximately 4 a.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the College Street and Augusta Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

– three men were outside a variety store

– they got into a physical confrontation with each other

– one of the three men was stabbed

Police were called and located a 19-year-old man suffering from a single stab wound. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Emilio Land, 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Robbery
3) Assault with a Weapon
4) Weapons Dangerous
5) Assault Peace Officer
6) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
7) Fail to Comply with Probation

Botoch Sagutch, 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Robbery
3) Assault with a Weapon
4) Weapons Dangerous

They are scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, 10 a.m., room 101.
