Officers from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying human remains found in Mississauga.

On Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at approximately 3:00 p.m., human remains were found in a wooded area near Mississauga Road and The Collegeway, across from University of Toronto Mississauga Campus.

The remains were found to be in an advanced state of decomposition, which has hindered the efforts of investigators to identify the victim. An autopsy has revealed that the remains are that of a male, 35-60 years of age, and approximately 5’8” tall. The victim was found wearing blue jeans and a brown belt, a ribbed v-neck sweater and a black zippered sweatshirt with an embroidered logo on the left side.

The logo, which reads “Old Time Hockey League, est. 1999, Champions 2006”,
