59-year-old man killed in crash, Baker Brook, N.B

On November 25, 2010 at approximately 2:30 a.m., District 10 RCMP, along with the RCMP’s Traffic Unit, responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on Route 120 in Baker Brook, N.B.

The investigation so far has shown that the victim’s vehicle, a 2009 Toyota Yaris, left the road, striking a telephone pole. The driver, a 59-year-old man from Baker Brook, N.B,. was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released until his family has been notified.

The investigation is ongoing, but it appears the victim was not wearing his seatbelt which may have contributed to his death.
