Peel police search for missing Brampton mother Carol James and daughter Tobii James

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 31 year old female and her 2 year old daughter.

Carol James was last seen at her residence on Narrow Valley Crescent in Brampton, on December 22, 2014, by a family friend.  She resides at this residence with her two year old daughter, Tobii James.

Carol James is described as female, black, with a dark complexion, 5’6”, thin build with short black hair and brown eyes.  She is believed to be wearing a red jacket.  Carol is right handed. 

Tobii James is described as female, black, with a medium complexion, 2’ tall, with a thin build, black short hair braided with bows.  She is believed to be wearing a pink winter coat with black polka dots.

Police have been unsuccessful in their attempts to locate this female and her daughter. Investigators are looking to speak with Carol confirm they are safe. She does not own a vehicle and has no close friends in the area. 

There is no photograph of the missing parties, and police have no known family to contact.

Update: Carol and Tobii James have been located in good health.
