Police arrest three in a drug raid, London

On Wednesday November 24, 2010 at 6:40 AM, the London Police Service Guns and Drugs Section, with assistance from the London RCMP drug unit, executed a Search Warrant on an address on Sunnyside Drive in London. Police located a fully functioning sophisticated grow operation which was powered by an electrical bypass. Police seized 1002 marihuana plants ($1, 002,000), 2,841 grams of marihuana bud ($28,410), and $15,000 worth of equipment used in this operation. Also stolen was $4,104 worth of power. Police have further seized a Toyota Sienna van and a Toyota Matrix in relation to theses offences.

At 7:20 AM an additional warrant was executed at a second address on Sunnyside Cres, where police located equipment used for a marihuana grow operation.

Also, at 7:30 AM, third warrant was executed at an address on Oakville Ave. Located at this address was 5-1/2 pounds (2,464g) of marihuana, as well as $22, 770 in cash.

Police have charged:

Thoa Thi Pham, a 31 year old male from London with theft under $5000, unlawfully producing a schedule II substance (marihuana) and 2 counts of possession of a schedule II drug for trafficking.

Tam Van Bui, a 29 year old male from London is charged with theft under $5000, unlawfully producing a schedule II substance (marihuana) and 2 counts of possession of a schedule II drug for trafficking.

Thom Van Bui, a 46 year old male from London is charged with theft under $5000, unlawfully producing a schedule II substance (marihuana) and possession of a schedule II drug for trafficking.
