At approximately 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 28, 2010 the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Street Patrol Division responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence on Beothuk Crescent in Corner Brook. A twenty year-old male sustained moderate injuries after being stabbed by a male who had fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was conveyed to hospital where he was treated and later released. An adult female was also assaulted during the incident receiving minor injuries. All parties involved are believed to have known one another and alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
RNC Street Patrol, Forensic Identification and Criminal Investigation Division officers are looking for COLIN WHEELER for his alleged involvement in this matter and a Parole warrant has been issued for WHEELER’s arrest. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary are working closely with all appropriate agencies to ensure public safety.
WHEELER is described as approximately six feet tall, 210 pounds, blue eyes with a shaved head and multiple facial tattoos. At the time of the incident WHEELER was wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt.
The RNC is encouraging the public to avoid contact with WHEELER and to contact police immediately if located.
