Two Toronto men Marcus Gibson and Ceyon Carrington charged with first degree murder

At 3:58 a.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014, police received a call for a shooting at the Garden Restaurant, 153 Dundas Street West.

Once on scene, police located three victims in the restaurant. All appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. Two women have non-life-threatening injuries. A 31-year-old man was pronounced at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Tariq Mohammed, 31, of Mississauga.

On Friday, January 16, 2014, police arrested two men.

Marcus Gibson, 22, of Toronto, was charged with:

!) First-Degree Murder
2) Robbery with a Firearm
3) Assault with a Weapon
4) Weapons Dangerous
5) Failing to Comply with a Recognizance

Ceyon Carrington, 28, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) First-Degree Murder
2) Robbery with a Firearm
3) two counts of Aggravated Assault

They were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, January 17, 2014.
