Yesterday, the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) charged an Ottawa man following an online investigation where an Internet Protocol (IP) address was identified as possessing and sharing images and videos of Child Pornography.
A search warrant was subsequently executed in the 1800 block of Walkey Road. Several computers and external digital devices were seized and are being forensically analysed.
Michael McRobie, 51 years old, of Ottawa, has been charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Make Available Child Pornography.
He is scheduled to appear at court for a bail hearing on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
