Three men from Nevada have been charged with weapons offences and a fourth man is also facing charges after the group allegedly tried to force their way into an apartment in downtown Vancouver on December 10th.
Around 10:00 p.m. Friday night, an occupant inside an apartment suite on Melville Street called 9-1-1 to report that a group of people were allegedly trying to force their way inside. The men took off after 9-1-1 was called and police caught up with them near Bute and Pender streets where they were taken into custody. A handgun was seized during the arrests.
Vancouver Police later returned to the apartment to conduct further investigation into the incident and ended up arresting one of the occupants for drug offences. A large quantity of drugs was seized.
