On December 10 at 4:43 p.m., police received a complaint from a 17-year-old female who stated she had been forced into prostitution. As a result of the investigation, a search was conducted at a Halifax residence on December 11 at 3:15 a.m. Officers seized a computer and other items in relation to the investigation. Yesterday at 10:40 a.m. a man turned himself in to police without incident at Police Headquarters.
Twenty-two-year-old Darrell Robert William Fisher of Halifax faces charges of living off the avails of a person under 18-years-of age, procuring a person under 18-years-of age, keeping a common bawdy house, assault and uttering threats. He is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
