Regina police ask for public’s assistance in the death of Timothy Rae Evenson

The Regina Police Service is repeating its request for information in the most recent homicide in Regina, with a focus on nearby events prior to the discovery of the victim. Fifty-five year old Timothy Rae EVENSON of Regina was found deceased in the 600-block alley, between Retallack and Robinson Streets, the night of Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

On Wednesday April 22, 2015 at approximately 9:50 p.m., police were dispatched to the east lane of the 600 block of Robinson Street in Regina for a report of a person, who was believed to be deceased. Police attended and located the male; EMS confirmed the male deceased. Patrol members established a perimeter that initially included an area in the alley and a portion of the 600 block of Retallack Street. The death investigation, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, was confirmed to be a homicide investigation by Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Through investigation, police believe an altercation may have occurred in the 600 block of Retallack Street in the hour preceding the discovery of the deceased victim. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in providing any information in relation to this incident.
