Toronto man Lascelles Allen charged with the murder of Suraiya Gangaram

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Friday, May 8, 2015, at 4:15 p.m., officers responded to a call for unknown trouble on Danzig Street.

It is alleged that:

– a woman was found in her home with life-threatening injuries

– she was pronounced shortly thereafter

A post-mortem examination has been conducted and the cause of death was a stab wound.

It is further alleged that:

– on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 4:40 p.m., officers responded to a man who had jumped onto the train tracks near Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East.

– the man had non-life-threatening injuries

– he was taken to hospital

The investigation has revealed that both incidents are connected.

The deceased has been identified as Suraiya Gangaram, 31, of Toronto.

Lascelles Allen, 51, of Toronto, has been arrested. He is charged with:

1) First-Degree Murder
2) Fail to Comply Recognizance

Homicide detectives are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything regarding this investigation to contact them.
