Windsor District RCMP charge men with prostitution-related charges

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Windsor District RCMP have charged two Windsor men with prostitution-related charges following a six-week investigation into prostitution activity in the Windsor area.

Over the weekend, two men were arrested without incident in Windsor. Justice Treyvon Hunter, 20, of Windsor, has been charged with a number of criminal offences including Assault, Uttering Threats, Breach of Probation, Extortion, Keeping a Bawdy-House, Living on the Avails of Prostitution and Trafficking in Persons. Myles Walter Card, 22 of Windsor has been charged with Living on the Avails of Prostitution. A third man was arrested on Monday evening and was later released without charges.

Both of the accused appeared in Kentville Provincial Court on Monday and have been remanded into custody. They will return to court for a Show Cause Hearing on May 14th, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Kentville Provincial Court.

At this time, three victims between the ages of 15-18 from Hants County have been identified. RCMP Victim Services has been engaged to provide assistance. Windsor RCMP believes there may be other victims and is urging the public to come forward with any information that will further the investigation. The investigation is continuing and more charges are anticipated against the men.
