A Canada wide arrest warrant has been issued for a man police suspect was involved in a drive-by shooting in Moncton on May 15.
The warrant has been issued for 32-year-old Shawn Fredericks. Fredericks is described as 6’5”, slender build, brown hair, brown eyes with multiple tattoos. Anyone who sees him is asked to contact police immediately and should not approach him.
On Friday night, Codiac Regional RCMP were called to McKenzie Avenue in Moncton after reports of shots fired at a home. While the house was occupied at the time, no one was injured. Police do not believe this was a random act.
Anyone with any information on Fredericks’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at crimenb.ca or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
