On December 22, 2010, at 3:20 p.m., Codiac Regional RCMP officers responded to a complaint at the Jones Lake Motel in Moncton.

A man was arrested in connection with threatening people while armed with a knife. No one was injured in the incident.

25-year-old Denis Cormier, of Scoudouc, was charged in Moncton Provincial Court this morning for mischief, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He has been released on conditions and is scheduled to return to court February 7, 2011 to enter a plea.
