Windsor police charge Preston Scott with attempted murder

On Sunday June 14, 2015 at approximately 3:20PM, Windsor Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Wyandotte Street West for a stabbing.  Officers arrived and observed citizens giving first aid to a 31 year old male victim who was lying on the street.  The male had multiple stab wounds in the back and chest.  Officers continued to assist with first aid and ambulance arrived seconds later.  The male was transported to hospital with serious injuries.  Investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the area of Dougall Avenue and Wyandotte Street West.  The victim was accompanied by two other males who were on bicycles.
 
At some point the victim was approached by a black male suspect who was also riding a bicycle.  The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim.  The suspect and the victim are known to each other and detectives continue to investigate.  At some point the victim was approached by a black male suspect who was also riding a bicycle.  The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim.  The suspect and the victim are known to each other and detectives continue to investigate.

Through investigation detectives were able to identify the suspect who allegedly stabbed the victim.  The suspect was located and subsequently placed under arrest
 
Preston SCOTT, a 32 year old male from Windsor is charged with Attempted Murder.
