Durham police nab two Oshawa men for drug trafficking

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Two men were arrested and more than $25,000 in illegal drugs was seized from two Oshawa residences last week.

Members of the DRPS Drug Enforcement Unit launched an investigation in May 2014, dubbed "Project Aurania", in relation to an Oshawa male who was suspected of selling drugs from his house. Undercover officers were able to purchase marihuana, cocaine, Adderall pills and hydromorph pills from the suspect.

On Thursday, June 18, 2015, officers arrested the suspect and another male suspected of providing the drugs to him. Search warrants executed at two residences netted more than $25,000 in drugs seized. A 2011 Chrysler 300 vehicle was also seized as proceeds of crime.

Robin KITCHEN, age 43, of Keewatin Street South in Oshawa is charged with 24 drug-related offences, including: Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance (cocaine) x11; Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 x10; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2; and Possession of a Schedule III Substance. He was held for a bail hearing.

Andrew EVINOU, age 43, of Belair Crescent in Oshawa, is charged with: Trafficking in a Schedule 1 Substance (cocaine) x3; Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine); and Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000. He was held for a bail hearing.
