A shopping mall in Kitchener, Ontario was the scene of an unusual stir when patrons discovered pop singing sensation Justin Bieber in their midst. The 16 year old was apparently home for the holidays visiting his parents in Stratford and decided to pop over the mall to look for a few items like jeans and sunglasses.
News of his presence quickly spread through the mall and one report said that fans were pressed against the glass at the Sunglass Hut watching the star trying on shades. Some papers have said that "hordes of screaming girls" were watching the teen sensation. People were climbing over people; some items got broken and in general there was something of a bit of chaos with the crowd.
Security had no idea he was going to show up but once they found out, they tried to control the crowd and protect the star. They escorted the star out of the mall through a back entrance.
Gawd, I hate when that happens to me at the shopping mall. 🙂
