USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…EPS homicide detectives have laid a charge in the November death of 49-year-old Sandra Lamb, Edmonton’s 25th homicide of 2010.

EPS officers were called to a home in the area of 108 Avenue and 52 Street to check on the welfare of a resident just before 4:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 29, 2010. Upon entering the home, the body of Sandra Lamb was discovered. The cause of death is not being released.

On Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, EPS arrested 27-year-old Kirsten Lamb and charged her with first degree murder. The accused is expected to make her first court appearance in Edmonton on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010.

Background:

The homicide victim in the Capilano area has been identified as 49-year-old Sandra Lamb. The autopsy on Lamb was completed, however, police are not releasing the cause of death for investigative reasons.

Numerous people have been interviewed in connection with this case. At this point police have no suspects. The EPS Forensic Section is continuing to process evidence at the crime scene.

Police were called to an address in the area of 108 Avenue and 52 Street just before four Monday afternoon to check on the welfare of a resident. It was then that they discovered a body.
