Two armed men rob Bank of Montreal in Ottawa

The Ottawa Police Service responded to a robbery at the Bank of Montreal in the 1300 block of Richmond Rd last evening. Two suspects entered the bank, one of whom approached the teller. He passed a note demanding money or he would start shooting. He then lifted up his jacket and showed the handle of a gun to the teller. The second suspect stayed in the line. Both suspects then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and were last seen heading west on Richmond Road.

Suspect #1: Black male, thin face, approx 20 years, 5’10” to 6’00” tall, slim build, black hooded jacket, red ball cap with ‘NY’ logo on front. **BELIEVED TO BE ARMED WITH A HANDGUN**

Suspect #2: Black male, approx 20 years, 5’10” to 6’00” tall, black fur lined jacket, light colored pants
