Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP, along with members of B.C. Corrections, are on the lookout for three escaped convicts from the Fraser Regional Correctional Centre. The three men were part of a work crew in Alco Park, which is situated in the 24900 block of Alouette Road, when they went missing. The trio were last seen at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday December 30, 2010.

The escapees are Douglas Erickson, 42 years of age. Erickson is a white male, 173 cm (5’08") tall, weighing 84 kgs (185 pounds), with brown eyes, and short brown hair. He has two tattoos on his right shoulder (a dragon and a tazmanian devil). Ryan Plotnikoff, 30. He’s a white male, 193 cm (6’04"), 95 kgs (209 pounds), with blue eyes, and short brown hair. He has a Tazmanian Devil tattoo on a finger on his right hand, and a Maple Leaf on a finger on his left hand. David Traill, 48. Traill is a white male, 180 cm (5’11"), 75 kgs (165 pounds), with hazel eyes, and short blond hair, with some baldness. He has a goatee style beard (not shown in photo), and numerous tattoos. All three were wearing orange prison work jump suits.
The three may have been picked up by a blue/grey sedan that was seen in the area, but officials have not been able to establish this. It is unknown where they might be going to.

It is not felt the escapees will be violent, however anyone who sees these men should not approach, but call police. Anyone who has any information as to their whereabouts, are asked to call the police.
