The Ottawa Police Street Crime Unit charged Magabi SULEIMAN, 29 yrs old, with 23 criminal charges after a search warrant was executed at his apartment in the 200 block of Donald Street.

After a two-month investigation, the Ottawa Police Tactical Unit executed the search warrant on behalf of the Street Crime Unit.

Crack cocaine, powder cocaine and marijuana were seized by investigators.

The Street Crime Unit will work with Ottawa Community Housing on eviction proceedings.

SULEIMAN is charged with:

7 count(s) of CDSA 5(1) TRAFFIC IN SCHED I CRACK COCAINE

6 count(s) of CC 355(b) POSS OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME UNDER $5000

7 count(s) of CC 145(5.1) FAIL TO COMPLY WITH CONDITIONS OF UNDERTAKING GIVEN BY OFFICER IN CHARGE

1 count(s) of CDSA 5(2) POSS OF A SCHEDULE II SUBSTANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING

2 count(s) of CDSA 5(2) POSSESS SCHED I COCAINE FOR TRAFFICKING

He will appear in court January 14 for a Show Cause hearing.
